Amid the Mumbai power outage, netizens freak out over Jofra Archer’s ‘Lights Out’ tweet from 2013

Jofra Archer is one of those cricketers, who pretty well know how to be in the limelight – be it with the fiery spells or his iconic old tweets that have the similarity with present situations which also included his “prediction” of the Super Over during the eve of ICC World Cup Finals against New Zealand, India’s first COVID-19 lockdown or any other incidents.

 

And once again, he came in the news for his tweets. The English speedster is currently playing for Rajasthan Royals in the 2020 edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) and troubling the batsmen.

Meanwhile, the people in Mumbai has been facing a huge power cut as a major power outage was reported in most of the areas of the city. While the residents have taken to Twitter to report about this situation across the city, many have taken the opportunity to make memes and share as well.

Amid this time, a 7-year-old tweet by none other than Jofra Archer became viral in no time which read: “Lights out.”

However, fans didn’t miss the opportunity to respond and make it more viral as well.
