Liverpool staged one of the best comebacks in Champions League history as they overcame a 3 goal deficit to win the tie 4-3. Following this, Mumbai Police went on to mock Barcelona using the 4th goal.
Liverpool produced a miracle as they scored 4 goals vs the Spainsh giants to win the tie 4-3 and book a place in the all important Champions League Finals. Both Divock Origi and Gini Wijnaldum scored braces as the hosts brushed past a Barcelona side that lacked intensity.
But the highlight of the game came in the 79th minute when Alexander Arnold produced one of the cleverest corner kicks to pick out Origi who in turn found the back of the net. This goal saw Liverpool take a lead for the first time in the tie.
Trent Alexander Arnold got past Jordi Alba and picked up possession. He then used the left back to earn his side a corner. While Arnold asked Shaqiri to take the corner, the Barcelona players were caught not being attentive. The right back was clever to spot this and returned quickly to pick out Origi who was left unmarked in the box.
Following this incident, Alexander Arnold drew praise from many for his quick thinking and improvisation. Barcelona players at the same time were criticised for making a schoolboy error.
Mumbai Police took the incident to another level by creating awareness on road traffic. The post on twitter saw them mock the La Liga champions by stating that distractions can cost even the mightiest.
Be it the road to a final, or way back home – being distracted cost dear even to the mightiest. It can cost you dearly too. #SafetyGoals #LIVBAR pic.twitter.com/MizDdxNhSr
