Although captain cool was absent from Men in Blue’s recent fixtures, like the West indies tour or the Bangladesh T20 series, the Chennai Super Kings talisman was seen in net practice at the JSCA International Stadium in his hometown Ranchi. However, its not an all work and no play routine for the 38 year old, as seen in Kedar Jadhav’s recent Instagram post.
Along with former team member R P Singh, Mahi was seen sitting alongside Jadav on the course.
Temporarily absent from international duty, the 2011 World Cup winner is utilizing his time with a golf club in his hand. An honourary member of Metuchen Golf and Country Club in Edison, Texas, Dhoni competed in a recent golf tournament in USA, alongside his friend Rajiv Sharma, and were runners-up in the flight category.
Dhoni, who previously held the record of 9 test victories by an innings, was surpassed by current team captain Virat Kohli as India defeated Bangladesh by an innings and 130 runs today at Holkar Stadium, Indore.
