The Indian Super League (ISL) Shield champions, Mohun Bagan Super Giant, have made a significant addition to their squad by signing prolific Australian striker Jamie Maclaren. The deal spans four years, cementing Maclaren’s commitment to the Kolkata-based club.

Jamie Maclaren, a seasoned forward, has an impressive track record. Before joining Mohun Bagan, he played for Melbourne City FC in the A-League, Scotland’s Hibernian FC, and Germany’s Darmstadt 98. Maclaren has also represented Australia on the international stage. His recent appearances include Australia’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Throughout his career, Maclaren has consistently found the back of the net. He honed his skills at Green Gully SC and secured a contract with Blackburn Rovers in England. His journey continued with standout performances at Perth Glory and Brisbane Roar, where he clinched the Golden Boot.
Maclaren’s career reached new heights at Melbourne City FC. Not only did he win the Golden Boot in his first season, but he also became the club’s all-time top scorer with an impressive tally of 103 goals.

As he departs the A-League, Maclaren leaves an indelible mark as the league’s record goal-scorer, having netted 149 goals and secured three consecutive championship titles.
Maclaren made his debut for the Australian senior men’s team in 2016 and has since represented his country 32 times, scoring 11 goals for the Socceroos.
