Mickie James gives advice to the young women pro-wrestlers
During the media tour, we asked James how the young women talents can achieve a breakthrough in top promotions like IMPACT Wrestling, which airs on Eurosport in India. The four-time IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion suggested the the young talents to find a wrestling school with good reputation and then work on their promo skills which are asa important as performing inside the squared circle.
Here is what she said[as transcribed by SportsIndiaShow]:
“My first is always to say to find a good school with credibility right way and that sometimes requires moving to find a school. I’d say it’s so different now and there is no perfect way to making it. Like, I’ve seen models walk in and have incredible careers and I’ve seen football players walk in and have incredible careers. So most people who become superstars got into to wrestling because they love wrestling and then train for it.”
She added: “But there are those occasional people who come from different backgrounds. It’s really hard cuz there is no direct advice for any person cause everybody’s journey is so different. But I think finding a good school is paramount, practicing the promos in the mirror. For me, that’s how I was able to get my promos to a place where I can feel it.”
Mickie James and Nick Aldis recently defeated Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green after tapping them out together at IMPACT Wrestling Multiverse of Matches on Friday, April 1.
