England beat New Zealand in their final group stage match, by a huge margin of 119 runs. This win on Wednesday in Chester-le-Street guaranteed the semi-finals berth for the English side. The host has gone through a roller-coaster ride, as they won 6 and lost 3 of their 9 league games. But, this is the first time that England has reached the semi-finals of the World Cup since 1992. England is assured of the third spot, but the fourth spot is still up for grabs. Though there is a big chance of New Zealand being the fourth team, Pakistan too has a chance.
Former England captain, Michael Vaughan has predicted the semi-final fixture for England. According to Vaughan, India will finish second and go against England in Birmingham.
Great performance .. Strong mentality over the last few days .. Bring on #India in Birmingham .. #CWC19
— Michael Vaughan (@MichaelVaughan) July 3, 2019
England would face either Australia or India on the 11th of July, in Birmingham. Current table-toppers Australia will play against South Africa in their last league game. On the other hand, India has its last game against Sri Lanka.
If Australia loses against South Africa and India win against Sri Lanka, it will take India to the top of the table. And in that case, it will be Australia vs England in the semi-finals.
Coming back to the tweet, many fans agreed to Vaughan but were predicting successful revenge for India who lost to England on 30th June. Many replies saw India thrashing England and making it to the finals. While some other tweets also saw India topping the table and England going against Australia in the semi-finals.
Australia is going to lose to SA and India is winning against SL. So it's gonna be Aus vs Eng. Save this tweet.

Why? India might be a bit off last time against England but I think if India plays England, I think they have a better chance to go to the final.

So IND n NZ didnt push for the win agnst ENG to maintain good NRR.
They have successfully made ENG into believing that their pathetic bowling line up can defend 300+ agnst quality teams.
ENG to get knocked out in semis #OnOn #EngvNZ #NZvEng— Bruno Fanx (@KhabriBiggstFan) July 3, 2019
