Maurizio Sarri took all the blame after Chelsea’s heavy defeat against Bournemouth with a margin of 4-0. Chelsea went down to the fifth position in the League Table after this defeat.

Chelsea were dominating in the first half of the match in terms of possession. However, Bournemouth we’re all over the Blues in the second half. The defensive unit of Chelsea had no clue to stop the counter attacks of the Cherries.

After the defeat, Maurizio Sarri took all the responsibility of the defeat in the post match conference. He said,

“Maybe I am not able to motivate these players,”

“At the end of the first half it was impossible to think the second would be a disaster and I want to understand why,” he said.

“Just like two months ago when we had to face difficulties, we lost our identity and played as 11 individuals.”

“You can concede but you need to play because the match was under control in the first half,”

“I am frustrated, of course, and it is a very strong setback because we knew this match was very important.”

Chelsea will face Huddersfield Town in the next match of the Premier League at Stamford Bridge and they need a win badly in that match to stay in the top four race.
