The manager of the Blues, Maurizio Sarri has given the assurances that Callum Hudson-Odoi will surely stay at Stamford Bridge for the rest of the season. The 18 year old star English left wing forward has expressed his desire to leave Chelsea as he was not getting enough gametime in this season.
Bayern Munich have placed several bids to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi in this winter transfer window but Chelsea have rejected all the bids so far. When Maurizio Sarri was asked about the transfer request of Callum Hudson-Odoi being turned down,
“I have no power to sign him a new contract here. On the pitch I am really very happy with him. The club told me that in this window, he will remain with us for sure. Very probably after the next. I am very happy”
Callum Hudson-Odoi wished to have more gametime to develop himself as a better player in the new condition. However, Maurizio Sarri clarified that Callum Hudson Odoi should respect the decision of the club management. The English left wing forward is an academy product of Chelsea and he has been involved in many matches of the Blues in this season so far.
