Ajax and Netherlands defender Matthijs de Ligt is currently on the brink of signing for Italian giants Juventus after the club have constantly tried to negotiate a fee for the him. They are expected to pay 75 million euros to secure his services.

Now with Ajax set to begin their preseason camp in a couple of days, Juventus reportedly want to complete the deal quickly and not let de Ligt join the squad to Austria.
According to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf, Juventus are looking to unveil the Ajax captain as early as Saturday with the negotiations almost coming to a conclusion. With Ajax demanding 75 million euros, Juventus have apparently bid for 67 million euros this week.
But it is expected that Ajax could accept the latest offer from Juventus. Matthijs de Ligt caught everyone’s eye this season after an impressive Champions League campaign with Ajax while also playing a pivotal role for Netherlands in the Nations League last season.
