Manchester United have ruled out a move for the teenage sensation Jadon Sancho after finding out that Borussia Dortmund have no plans of selling him.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to make a list of signings in order to revive his Manchester United side that finished 6th in the recently concluded Premier League season. As he looks to improve his attacking options, Jadon Sancho has been seen as one of the main targets for them.
In fact the club’s scouts prioritised the signing of Sancho even before Ole’s arrival last year. The former Manchester City academy player has had an amazing season in Germany scoring 14 goals and recording 12 assists.
But it looks as though Manchester United have opted out of signing Sancho as Borussia Dortmund currently have no intention of selling him. In fact it would most likely take a whopping £80m to change the side’s mind about selling him.
With just 2 full seasons under his belt, Manchester United do not evaluate Sancho as high as £80m and have decided to look elsewhere for new recruits.
United are currently looking to sign Sean Longstaff from Newcastle United and Swansea City winger Daniel James. In the defensive area where the side need a major revamp, Harry Maguire, Kalidou Koulibaly and Matthijs de Ligt are seen as the possible transfer targets.
