Manchester United have had enough of The Special One and have sacked him after United’s defeat against Liverpool at Anfield Stadium.
We have come to know this courtesy of a recent statement put out by Manchester United’s official Twitter handle:
Manchester United has announced that Jose Mourinho has left the Club.
We would like to thank him for his work during his time at Manchester United and wish him success in the future. #MUFC

The statement reads: “Manchester United has announced that Jose Mourinho has left the Club. We would like to thank him for his work during his time at Manchester United and wish him success in the future. #MUFC”
After spending a three-year stint at Old Trafford and helping United win the FA Community Shield the UEFA Europa League in 2017, Mourinho didn’t have the best of times.
Falling out with various players in the dug-out and training sessions such as Paul Pogba and disastrous performances in the field saw fans of the Red Devils clamouring over social media begging for Mourinho to be sacked.
It remains to be seen who will succeed the Portuguese manager at Old Trafford and what is next in store for Mourinho.
