Manchester United are currently in the market to sign new recruits that will see them become relevant in the Premier League title race again.
Manchester United are ready to splash the cash in a bid to land two world class players this summer. With the likes of Lukaku, Sanchez and Pogba touted to leave the club, Manchester United have been on the hunt for their replacements.
Now the club is said to have made a serious bid to land their two top targets. They look to acquire the services of both Adrien Rabiot and Philippe Coutinho and have begin initial talks with their respective clubs.
According to reports, Adrien Rabiot, who will be a free agent this summer is now keenly eyed by Manchester United. The club is ready to sign the player with a €10m singing-on fee and is also ready to offer the Frenchman a £150,000 per week contract. It will also mean that they potentially get an upgrade for Fred, who has failed to cement his place in the side.
Many clubs including the likes of Real Madrid are also currently interested in Rabiot. But the hefty contract the player is after looks to be the sole reason for the clubs to stall their bids.
Meanwhile, Philippe Coutinho has endured a pretty disappointing time in Barcelona following his big money move from Liverpool last year. Despite playing for their rivals in the Premier League, United are now willing to offer the Brazilian an escape route by readying a €100m bid for him.
But with Manchester United currently unable to offer Champions League services, Coutinho will weigh all his other options before considering the move back to the Premier League.
