According to Sky Sports News, Manchester United have contacted Fulham for a potential signing of their left-back Ryan Sessegnon. Tottenham and Juventus are also eyeing the 19-year-old prodigy but the Red Devils remain the only club to have contacted the now-relegated Premier League side.
Sessegnon wants to play in the Premier League after his parent club Fulham got relegated with five games to spare. And, with Manchester United looking for home-grown talent in their ranks, Sessegnon might eventually play under Ole Gunnar Solksjaer.
Sessegnon has one-year remaining in his contract and with the youngster reluctant to sign an extension, this may be Fulham’s best chance to offload the youngster and get a huge amount as transfer fees.
He was instrumental in Fulham’s promotion from the Champions League and played in the right wing under Claudio Raneiri. However, he struggled to find playing time as the team moved to the Premier League.
Sessegnon still remains one of the most sought after player in the transfer market as he has more than 100 senior team appearances. For the time being, he might be going to Manchester United.
