Paul Pogba was in the receiving end after his post match lapse around the stadium saw him get abused by a distressed fan.
Manchester United’s season went from bad to worse as the side surrendered to a 0-2 loss vs Cardiff City on the final day to finish the season at 6th place. After their manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer got the job on a permanent basis, the side haven’t enjoyed the best of times, winning just two games in their last twelve.
Even before the final day fixtures kicked off, the side was distinct to finish below top 4 as Chelsea and Tottenham had significant lead in their hand. But the side’s plan of ending the season on a high failed as Nathaniel Mendez-Liang’s brace sunk the Red Devils.
Following the full time whistle several players including Manchester United’s star midfielder Paul Pogba went to engage the fans for their unbelievable support throughout the season. But it instead saw a fan take a dig at Paul Pogba for his dismal performances in the recent games.

Even while the French midfielder was being scrutinized for his performances, Pogba continued to applaud the other fans in the stadium. This drew criticism from many including Alan Shearer.
“This is the problem at Old Trafford, it epitomises everything that is wrong with this football club and football team,” said Shearer speaking to BBC.
