Manchester United starlet Timothy Fosu-Mensah, who is currently on loan at Fulham, was revealed to be the fastest player in the Premier League this season after the defender was proved to achieve staggering speeds, leaving behind the quicker Wolves left-back Ruben Vinagre and Manchester City winger Leroy Sane, in that order.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah was revealed to have reached a staggeringly high speed of 21.95 mph this season thereby, officially, becoming the quickest in England for this term. While still being unable to find the top of his ability at Fulham, the Dutchman is certainly a top athlete with the numbers to back him.

Timothy, 21, joined the now-relegated Fulham on a season long loan following another loan tenure of a year at Crystal Palace in the previous season, after spending just a year at Old Trafford from 2016-17 despite his contract running until the end of 2020 with a one-year extension option.

The 21-year old defender, who has just 11 Fulham caps this season, surpassed Wolves left-back Ruben Vinagre in second place who was 0.08 mph slower, and Man City’s Leroy Sane, who was the previous season’s fastest (22.0462 mph) trailed him in third by 0.01 mph further.

The young Dutch international topped the charts which was void of PL stars Raheem Sterling, Eden Hazard and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and instead Newcastle’s DeAndre Yedlin was another 0.01 mph slower in fourth, while West Ham midfielder Felipe Anderson and Liverpool forward Divock Origi round out the top six, with top speeds of 21.82 mph and 21.77 mph respectively.
