Real Madrid’s wonderkid Vinicius Jr has performed really well for Brazil’s Under 20 side in this International Break. The Brazilian under 20 side have played two friendly matches against Chilean under 20 side as the country will host the upcoming South American under 20 Championship.

Real Madrid have brought in Vinicius Jr from his boyhood club Flamengo in this summer transfer window. Most of the football pundits have thought that Vinicius Jr will be given more chances in the Starting XI of Real Madrid in this season and he will be able to fill the void of Cristiano Ronaldo. But the things have not gone in this way for Vinicius Jr. He has only appeared in two matches in La Liga against Atletico Madrid and as late substitute in both the matches.
But Vinicius Jr is keeping his head calm and waiting to get opportunities to play for more minutes at Real Madrid. He told,
“I have a calm head because I just arrived,”
“I am happy with the group, which is really good, and I hope to train to be able to help the team.
“There was nothing better than being able to debut at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
“It’s always good to play with the best in the world.
“Playing for Real Madrid is priceless.
“It’s a childhood dream that I always wanted to make happen.
“For now, my focus is on the Under-20s South American championship preparation.
“It has been really good to join with people from Brazil because we talk about football and live through experiences that every player needs.”
After Vinicius Jr’s impressive performance for the under 20 side of Brazil now it will be difficult for the Real Madrid’s manager Julen Lopetegui to avoid the teenager in the first team of the Los Blancos.
