Lonely at the top: India extend lead at the top of the World Test Championship table

India kept their winning run in the World test Championship intact with a huge innings victory over Bangladesh in Indore. The Men In Blue are comfortably poised in the first place with 300 points to their name.

The table-toppers defeated West Indies away from home by a margin of 2-0 and then proceeded to thump the Proteas for their second consecutive whitewash.

India will conclude their series with Bangladesh after a historic Day-Night test in Kolkata before playing out their remaining fixtures against Australia and New Zealand away from home and then hosting England.

New Zealand are placed second in the table with 60 points. Although it is to be noted that India have played 5 tests already with some teams yet to play a single fixture. Check out the table below:
