It was certainly one of the most beautiful comebacks of European football indeed. Liverpool were 3-0 behind after the end of the first leg at Camp Nou. Divock Origi started the comeback procedure as he scored the first goal at the 7th minute of the match. Barcelona just needed one away goal to kill the tie but they were not able to get that despite creating a lot of opportunities. The first half ended with a scoreline of 1-0 in favour of Liverpool.

Georginio Wijnaldum came in place of injured Andrew Robertson at the beginning of the second half. The substitution has completely changed the course of the match. Wijnaldum scored two back to back goals within two minutes and it created a whole lot of pressure on Barcelona. Divock Origi scored the decisive goal of the match from the corner taken Trent Alexander Arnold. The match ended with a scoreline of 4-0 in favour of the Reds and they qualified to the Final of the Champions League with an aggregate scoreline of 4-3.
