The Liverpool fan, who’s video of him pushing Barcelona fans into a fountain became viral and made its rounds throughout the social media. Now the same person is seen to be involved in yet another controversy.
Liverpool fan identified as Martin Mullen was suspected on the eve of Champions League semi final first leg at Barcelona for pushing two fans into the fountain. Now the same person is seen to be involved in yet another incident.
After Liverpool’s convincing win over Wolves that saw them finish 2nd in the Premier League, a new video started to trend on social media. It was Martin once again, this time wearing a Barcelona baseball cap, pulling down a matchday Steward’s trousers after passing his drink to a cameraman.
Currently both these incidents are being investigated by Liverpool FC in order to take an appropriate decision against Martin’s actions. Also it is to be noted that Martin is a lifelong Liverpool fan who follows them both home and away.
The first incident took place at Placa Reial, a famous tourist spot at Barcelona where Martin wearing a blue dress was seen pushing both an elderly man as well as a young chap into the fountain.
Several Liverpool fans including the club’s CEO condemned the actions of the suspect then. It looks to be seen what actions will be taken for the incident involving the steward.
