Lionel Messi says that he wishes for former team-mate Neymar to come back at Camp Nou and reform the dangerous MSN trio along with Luis Suarez.
Rumours have been around this season that Neymar wants to rejoin his former club and could leave Paris Saint Germain next summer.
Messi says that he would love to have an opportunity to play with the Brazil international once again but considers that PSG won’t want their best forward go that easily.
In a statement given to Marca, the Argentine superstar said, “I think it is complicated how Neymar would leave PSG. We would love it if he came back for what he means as a player and in the dressing room”
He added “We’re friends, we had some good experiences together and others not so much. But PSG are not going to let Neymar walk away.”
Neymar had been a talismanic force for the Blaugrana and it is understandable why both Messi and the club would love to have him back.
In his stint for the Spanish club, Neymar scored 68 goals in 123 appearances. He won the continental treble of La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the UEFA Champions League, and came third for the FIFA Ballon d’Or in 2015 for his performances.
