The Los Angeles Laker began their preseason against the Denver Nuggets today, and the Nuggets prevailed 124-107.
LeBron James played his first minutes as a Laker, but he was not able to lead his team to victory as he slowly settles himself in the new surroundings. The Nuggets had seven players in double digits for points, which included Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Juan Hernangomez, who topped the charts with 19.

JaVale McGee surprisingly scored the most for the Lakers, with 17 points. Rajon Rondo had 11 assists, which was the highest for anyone in the game. LeBron played just 15 minutes and recorded 9 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists.
The Laker’s defense certainly needs some attending to, as the Nuggets dominated the first half to score 66 points before the interval. Their shooting was below par as well, and improvement is a must in that area.
For Nuggets, their bigs were the standout performers, which included Mason Plumlee and Nikola Jokic. They can certainly draw hope from this performance. Here are some clips from the game which include some eye-catching plays.
