Krunal Pandya opens up on his ‘Special Sunday’ with ‘Special Company’

The Indian bowler Krunal Pandya recently took to his social media account and shared with his fans how he spent the last Sunday, not to mention it was a ‘special one’. He also let his fans know that he had some “special company”.

The Mumbai Indians’ player took to his Instagram account and posted a picture on where he was witnessed with nephew Agastya and two dogs. He captioned the image as: “Special Sunday with special company.”

Agastya is Krunal’s younger brother and Hardik Pandya and Hardik’s partner Natasa Stankovic’s son. Krunal has been active on social media and often posts pictures with his baby nephew. In another post earlier this month, Agastya was seen resting on uncle Krunal’s shoulders.

Hardik’s partner, Natasa Stankovic had also shared Krunal’s post in her Instagram story and Krunal’s wife Pankhuri Sharma left a comment with heart emojis.

Krunal had made his ODI debut in March against England, and he is likely to return to the field next when India goes on a tour of Sri Lanka for ODIs and T20Is in July. Neither Krunal nor Hardik are part of the Indian squad which has been announced for the coveted ICC World Test Championship final against New Zealand and England Tests.

Both Krunal and Hardik were seen in action for Mumbai Indians in the currently suspended Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 campaign. Mumbai Indians stood fourth on the points table with eight points from seven matches before the league was postponed earlier this month after multiple COVID-19 cases were recorded in the bio-bubble.

Krunal Pandya recently also stepped up to help India with the COVID-19 pandemic as he took donated several oxygen concentrators to COVID centers.

India is currently dealing with the second wave of the pandemic and according to the latest update from the health ministry, the country recorded 2,22,315 fresh cases and 4,454 fatalities.
