French defender and key Arsenal man Laurent Koscielny has almost recovered from his long term injury and has things to say about the new era at Emirates, positive remarks ofcourse comprising his thoughts.
Koscielny when asked about Unai Emery said “He came here with his ideas and knows the football he wants to play.
“He tries to give all the ingredients for the the players to learn about his tactics and how he wants to play.
“It’s very interesting.
“I’ve been running since the end of August and I was near the team during the training sessions.” added the Frenchman about his rehab.
“I watched all the training so I know all the tactics, all the runs, when we have the ball, when we need to defend, when we need to press.
“It was important after the first two defeats at the beginning to win, and now the team knows well the tactics and the idea of the coach.
“We can see the results — we have now 22 games unbeaten.
“We bought some very good players.
“They have improved since the start of the season. Lucas Torreira started on the bench but now you can see his confidence.
“We gave him the chance to grow up slowly with the team, a new country and a new stadium, which is very different to Italy, and now we start to have 100 per cent of the capacity of Lucas.
“Bernd Leno as well has integrated well now with the team. It’s very important.”
He said: “Thursday was a special day for me after seven months.
“Just before you come on the pitch, you think about what you did. I had some flashes in my head of the seven months of rehab I did.
“Now it’s the end. Now it’s a new chapter of my career.”
