Suryakumar Yadav was seen starting off with a little jogging session and then proceeded with some fitness drills. His activity was closely watched by the likes of assistant strength and conditioning coach Soham Desai. Physio Nitin Patel and strength and conditioning coach Nick Webb.
Kohli, Dhoni, and Ravi Shastri seen deep in discussion after session
Skipper Virat Kohli, mentor MS Dhoni, and coach Ravi Shastri were seen having a discussion, presumably about tactics and strategy for their match-up against Afghanistan.
The clash on Wednesday will also see a change in venue for India, who played their initial set of matches in Dubai. The team struggled at the venue with two heavy losses to Pakistan and New Zealand. This time around, they will compete at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi before returning to Dubai for their remaining set of matches against Namibia and Scotland.
The Men In Blue have to pick up a win against their Asian rivals if they need to stay alive in this tournament. With Pakistan already having sealed the top spot in the group, three teams still stay in contention for the second and final spot in the group for the semi-finals.
