Kerala based Armwrestler Shreya MK vows to win the next Pro Panja League ranking tournament

Indian Armwrestling and Pro Panja League star from Kerala Shreya MK

Shreya Mk is one of the youngest Armwrestlers from the Pro Panja League. At the age of just 17, she won the Silver medal at the last Pro Panja League ranking tournament held in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. She is also a multiple time state and national medalist.

The Sports India Show had the opportunity to chat with Shreya Mk to talk about her experience in Pro Panja League and also her training regimen.

How long have you been Armwrestling?

I have been Armwrestling for five years.

What are the improvements that you have done after the Pro Panja League ranking tournament which took place in Gwalior?

I am improved massively since the Pro Panja League ranking tournament held in Gwalior. I have won Champion of Champion title in the district youth Category and I have also won 4 gold medals at Kerala State Armwrestling Championship 2023 held last february.

Why should the franchise chose you in the upcoming League?

Because I am one of the best women Armwrestlers in India and I’ve won champion of champion at the National level in 2022 and I am also the first runner-up of the Pro Panja League ranking tournament which took place in Gwalior last July. I am fully dedicated to making it to the top spot next time. So I’m sure that you won’t regret by choosing me.

What are your past achievements in Armwrestling?

A) National Youth Champion of Champion.

B) Four Gold Medals at the 2022 National Armwrestling Championship held in Hyderabad.

C) Four Gold Medals at the 2023 Kerala State Armwrestling Championship.

D) Silver Medal at the 2022 Pro Panja League Ranking Tournament, Gwalior

Tell us about your training regimen?

I do bodyweight workout for 6 days a week and Armwrestling table practice once a week.

What are your expectations from the League?

I have extremely high hopes from Pro Panja League. I am expecting high level competition and support from the League.
