Kavya Maran’s address was a much-needed pep talk aimed at uplifting the team’s spirits. Despite the loss, she expressed her pride in the team’s efforts throughout the season. She highlighted how the team had defied expectations and shattered numerous batting records in the IPL.

In her address, Kavya Maran said, “You all have made us so proud. I had to come here and tell you that. I mean you have redefined the way we play T20 cricket and everyone is talking about us. The off-day had to happen today, but a really great job, all of you with the bat and ball. Thank you so much.”

She also acknowledged the team’s journey from finishing last in the IPL 2023 to reaching the final in IPL 2024.

“And I think even though we finished last place last year, I think all the fans came out in huge numbers because of the potential you guys had. Everyone’s talking about us and even though KKR won, I am sure everyone’s still going to be talking about the style of cricket we have played. Thank you guys, take care and don’t look like this. We played the final, it wasn’t just any other game. I mean all the other teams have been watching us tonight. Thank you guys, I will see you soon,” Kavya added.

Despite KKR winning the IPL 2024, Kavya Maran emphasized that people would still talk about the style of cricket played by SRH. She thanked the team and asked them not to be disheartened as they had played in the final, which was not just any other game.

Before leaving the dressing room, Kavya Maran ensured that everyone in the team had a smile on their faces. Her address was a touching moment that showcased her support for the team, even in defeat.
