Jose Mourinho wants to stay at Manchester United till the end of his contract in 2020. In the last few days, Jose Mourinho has been linked with a possible return to Real Madrid as the current manager of the Los Blancos, Julen Lopetegui is on the verge of sacking after a poor start of the season.
Real Madrid are not going through a good run of form in the recent matches in La Liga. They have faced two consecutive defeats against Alaves and Levante in the last two matches in the domestic competition. The El Clasico is going to take place within one week. In this circumstances, a bad result for Real Madrid will be enough for Julen Lopetegui to be sacked.
Manchester United are going to play against Juventus in the Group Stage match of the Champions League on Tuesday. In the pre match conference Jose Mourinho was asked about his future at Old Trafford and the possibilities of joining Real Madrid. The Portuguese manager told,
“I am happy here.
“All I am thinking about at the moment is Manchester United.”
“I am happy to see out my contract to the very last day of that contract and I would like to stay after my contract runs out as well.”
Jose Mourinho is also not having a great time at Manchester United in this season. Manchester United are currently situated at the 9th position in the League Table in the Premier League. So, the match against Juventus is going to be really important for Jose Mourinho & Co. So, the Portuguese manager is trying to concentrate on his current team’s form only rather than his future.
