It’s been a month since Jose Mourinho was sacked as Manchester United boss, and while the 55-year old Portuguese manager was reported to have headed back home, alongside being linked with new managerial stints at other clubs, he will be making a comeback in footballing action, albeit as a pundit.

Mourinho was linked with multiple clubs to take over at their respective managerial helms, most notable ones being La Liga giants Real Madrid and Primeira Liga runner ups Benfica. While, he has openly tossed the idea of working in Portugal, he is open to return to the Bernabeu. However, amid all the speculation surrounding his job as a manager, the former Red Devils boss is all set to make his first official television debut appearance as a pundit for beIN Sports. The Portuguese will be giving a piece of his mind over the Arsenal-Chelsea clash on the 19th of this month when the two London clubs face each other off in the Premier League.

Prior to his analyses of the London derby, Mourinho, former Chelsea manager as well, will also be providing his thoughts and analyses during the AFC Asian Cup game between Qatar and Saudi Arabia on 17 January.

“Jose is one of the greatest football managers of all time, and we hope that his expert analysis and charismatic personality will be enjoyed by our millions of viewers,” an official statement from beIN Sports read.
