After losing to Liverpool 3-1 at Anfield, Manchester United sacked then manager Jose Mourinho on 18 December 2018.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, former club legend was appointed as the new interim manager and has since gone on to win 5 matches as his first term as a United manager.
However, people are speculating as to where Mourinho might head next and rumours are in the air saying that he might rejoin Real Madrid.
A tweet from Francesc Aguilar of Mundo Deportivo – a Spanish newspaper, hints that the Special One ‘has no problems in taking charge of the team now’ but he has made certain demands.

The tweet which is in Spanish roughly translates to:
“José Mourinho, who has just put Benfica out, has told Florentino Pérez that if it is for him, he has no problems in taking charge of the team now. Of course, he asks for reinforcements, especially in the center of defense and a contrasted goalscorer.”
This suggests that the Portuguese coach after turning down a Benfica approach has agreed to rejoin Real Madrid as head coach if he is given the choice of reinforcing the team in areas of defence and attack.
