Jehan Daruvala etches his name in history books as the first Indian to score championship points in Formula E


Jehan Daruvala, a promising talent in the world of motorsports, has recently etched his name in the annals of history by becoming the first Indian to score points in Formula E since it became a World Championship. Earlier Karun Chandok scored 18 points during the 2014-15 season. However, it wasn’t part of the World Championship then.

Jehan Daruvala’s historic feat at Formula E

Daruvala’s historic moment came during the 2024 Misano E-Prix. Despite starting from the 21st position on the grid, Daruvala showcased his exceptional driving skills and determination. He managed to climb up the ranks and finished the race in the 9th position. This impressive performance not only earned him his first points in Formula E but also marked a significant milestone for Indian motorsports.
