India pacer Jasprit Bumrah didn’t feature for India in the final Test match against England and he wouldn’t be a part of the T20I squad as well. Ever since the reports suggested Bumrah’s absence, rumours regarding the speedster’s upcoming marriage have taken the cricket fandom by storm.
If the speculations and rumours are to be believed, he is all set to tie the knot in Goa at the end of this week. As per the sources, the 27-year-old pace spearhead is going to take the nuptial vows with sports anchor/presenter and model Sanjana Ganesan.
As far as the wedding venue is concerned, there is very little information available as it is likely to be a destination wedding in Goa. Jasprit Bumrah will travel to Mumbai first with his mother and sister and then head to Goa as well.

Sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan is a familiar face in the circuit who is regular with the Star Sports presenters’ panel and so far hosted several shows on IPL, badminton, etc. for the sports broadcaster as well. She has even been hosting the weekly show for the IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders titled ‘Knights Club’.
However, nothing has been confirmed yet as neither the presenter nor the cricketer or his managers has given any response for or against it, which further creates confusion.
While there is a lot of suspense going on over the marriage, as per the reports, only a few family members will be present at the wedding due to the global pandemic novel COVID-19 restrictions. Also, none of his Indian teammates will be there due to the ongoing series against England and the biosecure bubble guidelines. India will take on England in the five-match T20I series, starting from March 12.
