In a significant move, Jamshedpur FC has secured the services of seasoned Spanish midfielder Javier Hernandez for the 2024-25 Indian Super League (ISL) season. Hernandez, affectionately known as “Javi,” brings a wealth of experience to the Men of Steel.

His Indian football journey spans five years, featuring stints at Bengaluru FC, Odisha FC, and ATK Mohun Bagan. Notably, he clinched the ISL championship with ATK Mohun Bagan in 2019-20 and lifted the Durand Cup in 2022. His runner-up finish in the 2022-23 ISL playoffs with Bengaluru FC further underscores his impact.

At 35 years old, Javi Hernandez is an attacking midfielder with creative flair. His playmaking abilities and attacking gameplay will bolster Jamshedpur FC’s midfield. Expect him to orchestrate moves, unlock defences, and contribute both goals and assists.
