The ICC World Cup 2019 which starts from 30th May in England and Wales is less than two months away and excitement level amongst cricket fans around the world is high.

Although the Indian team has been performing brilliantly under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, they lost the recent home ODI series to Australia 3-2. The recent series loss has raised a question amongst fans if it will have an impact on the upcoming 2019 world cup.

South African cricketing great Jacques Kallis believes that India’s ODI series loss to Australia will have no impact on Virat Kohli in the upcoming world cup which will take place in England and Wales from 30th May.

I don’t think Kohli will be under pressure. He has produced the goods time and time again. He is a world class player and the guys follow what he does. He is certainly one of the best in the world,” Kallis explained.

Kohli I believe can go as far as he wants to. He is a world class player. He is hungry. He works hard. He has proved that over the years. The main thing about him is that he keeps it simple. People enjoy watching him bat,” Kallis said.

Do you guys agree with Jacques Kallis?
