ISL Match 92 Review: Last-minute equalizer pulls Goa into a 2-2 draw against Chennaiyin

FC Goa edged themselves out from a defeat against Chennaiyin with an equalizer during the injury time to conclude the match in a 2-all tie at the GMC Stadium.

Super-sub Ishan Pandita came to rescue Goa in the 92nd minute

Chennaiyin striker Jakub Sylvestr’s early strike in the 13th minute was answered within six minutes as Igor Angulo drilled one in from the spot to even the scores.

Heading into the second half with a goal apiece, Chennaiyin took the lead once again in the 60th minute as winger Lallianzuala Chhangte took advantage of of a miscalculation between Goa keeper Dheeraj Singh Moirangthem and the defensive fine, and struck the ball into an empty net.

The match entered into stoppage time with an assured victory for Chennaiyin, until Ishan Pandita, who was subbed in for Jesuraj in the 66th minute, netted in the equaliser in the 92nd minute, saving the day for Goa once again, along with a point.
