Chennaiyin FC and Mumbai City FC ended their game with 1-1 draw in the Indian Super League(ISL) on Monday at Bambolim Stadium.

Chennaiyin FC started the game strong. Chhangte attempted a shot on goal from the edge of the box but goalkeeper Amrinder Singh stood strong and parried it away.

Sabia attempted with a shot but it was off target. Chhangte’s outswinging corner was met by Sabia, but the Chennaiyin captain’s header did not create any trouble.

Mumbai City FC got a great chance when Vignesh, the left wing back saw Vishal Kaith come off his line and fired a chip that landed on top of the net.

Bartholomew Ogbeche gives Mumbai City FC the lead

In the 21st minute, Bipin Singh played a great cross from the left and Ogbeche leapt past his marker to score his fifth goal of the season.

However, in the 75th minute, Jahouh brought down Sylvestr in the box and was booked, conceeding a penalty.

The Bissau-Guinean striker drilled the ball into the net from the spot to bring Chennaiyin back to level terms.
