Bengaluru FC got more possession of the ball in the opening 20 minutes of the clash and showed a lot of intent up front.

On the other hand NorthEast United has did great work into the attacking third, but nothing extraordinary to get the goal and neither side managed a shot in the mentioned time.

At one point Parag Srivas, who made his second start in the ISL did well and thr youngster played a one-two with Harmanjot Singh Khabra and then sent in a lovely low cross for Kristian Opseth. Fox was there to clear the danger before Opseth could connect with the ball.

Federico Gallego tried to to have an attempt on goal but completely miscued his shot and the ball somehow landed generously at the feet of Luis Machado and he made no mistake to to slot the ball past goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu and gave his side the lead.
