A match that could have easily went in favour of Hyderabad, ended in a tie as ATK Mohun Bagan netted their second goal in the injury time to equate the scores at the Tilak Maidan.

Pritam Kotal saves ATK from a loss

Hyderabad suffered an early red card as Chinglensana Singh was given the marching orders after the centre back pushed David Williams in the fifth minute.

Despite getting reduced to 10 men so early, Hyderabad were the first to take the lead by the 8th minute as Aridane Santana who intercepted a lazy back pass from Pritam Kotal, tapping the ball past Arindam Bhattacharya.

While both sides earned their chances to score, the match went into the second half with Hyderabad still in their one-goal lead. However, a brilliant through from Williams to Manvir Singh on the right, followed by a high shot from the ATK striker into the back of the net as the scores were now levelled by the 57th minute.

Hyderabad took the lead again in the 74th minute as Roland Alberg, replacing Lluis Sastre, scored within six minutes, receiving a headed pass from Santana inside the box and thundering it past the ATK keeper.

The match went into extra time with Hyderabad closing in on a 2-1 lead. However, a brilliant one-two between Williams and Rane saw the latter curling the ball towards Laxmikant Kattimani.

The Hyderabad keeper did his best to save the ball, but it went straight to Kotal, who remarkably saved the night for ATK with equalizing only minutes before the final whistle.
