Paul’s first action of the game came in the sixth minute when he was forced into a save of Sunil Chhetri’s long ranger. He kept pulling off a string of brilliant saves in the first half, as Bengaluru continued to attack in search of the opener.

As the match approached the hour mark, Bengaluru had registered a dozen attempts with the scores still reading 0-0. Jamshedpur then suddenly looked to take an upper hand in the game, creating two good chances.

The golden chance to wrap up the game came in the 76th minute when Bengaluru’s Ashique Kuruniyan made a solo run towards the Jamshedpur goal. But Paul was at it once again, preventing the left back from scoring the goal.

Finally, neither team could find a way past each other and had to settle for a draw. Jamshedpur with the one point moved first while Bengaluru are still searching for their first win of the season.
