Second half goals from Aniket Jadhav and Sergio Castel gave Jamshedpur their second straight win after Hyderabad’s Marcelinho cancelled out Farukh Choudhary’s opener in the first 45 minutes.

Farukh Choudhary looked bright from the very beginning of the game and created two good chances in the first 20 minutes. It was very evident that one couldn’t keep him out of the match.

At the 34th minute, Choudhary, who was in the thick of action until then put the hosts in the lead after converting a rebound of Kamaljit Singh.

However, moments before the end of the first half, quick thinking from the visitors helped them score their first goal for the club and level things up. A quickly taken free-kick following a foul saw the ball fall correctly before Marcelinho, who converted it.

Jamshedpur once again dominated right since the second half commenced and looked the most likely to score again. They scored their second in the 62nd minute after Choudhary assisted one to Aniket Jadhav through the left flank, where the side dominated on most occasions.

Sergio Castel then put the side in a commanding 3-1 lead in the 77th minute. There was no further room for Hyderabad to script a remarkable comeback and had to settle for the loss.

The win saw Jamshedpur overtake Goa to the top spot having registered a 100 percent start to their campaign. Hyderabad however have a lot of rethinking to do before their next game.
