Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have hammered Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 112 runs in the match 60 in the ongoing IPL edition at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

Brilliant half-centuries from Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell guided Royal Challengers Bangalore to 171/5 in 20 overs. Opting to bat, du Plessis and Maxwell stitched a 69-run partnership for the second wicket.
However, the middle order once again failed to fire as RCB lost four wickets for just 18 runs. Spinner Adam Zampa and medium pacer KM Asif picked two wickets apiece for Rajasthan.
Royals displayed a disastrous batting performance. Right off the bat, they struggled. The two openers – Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal were sent back to the dressing room with in the first two overs without opening their account. Sanju Samson also departed early and left Royals in deep trouble. The lackluster batting continued as wickets fell in quick succession. At one stage, Royals were at 31/6 in 7 overs. Ravichandran Ashwin also got run out for duck as Rajasthan Royals lost their seventh wicket.
Shimron Hetmyer scored the highest runs for the hosts and was dismissed for 35 runs. RCB bowlers bundled them for a mere 59 runs in 10.3 overs.
Wayne Parnell returned with three wickets. Karn Sharma and Michael Bracewell picked two wickets each. Meanwhile, Siraj and Maxwell picked one apiece.
