Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni recently honored the Tamil documentary, ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ real-life heroes Bomman and Bellie, the elephant caregivers, and Oscar-winning filmmaker Kartiki Gonsalves in a special event on May 9. The documentary won the Best Documentary Short Award at the Oscars. After the love and appreciation the team received, it got felicitated by Chennai Super Kings.

The Elephant Whisperers heroes were glad with the proceedings after they got felicitated by the Chennai Super Kings team at an event on May 9. MS Dhoni gifted personalized CSK jerseys to The Elephant Whisperers couple, Bomman and Bellie along with the filmmaker Kartiki Gonsalves in a special event after training at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Tuesday.
The jersey that was given to the star couple by Dhoni had their names printed on the back. The official Instagram page of the IPL team shared the pictures and videos on Instagram which read, “Roars of appreciation to the team that won our hearts! So good to host Bomman, Bellie and filmmaker Kartiki Gonsalves (sic).”
Other than this, in addition to the honor, Chennai Super Kings will also be conducting a special felicitation ceremony for the caregiving couple and the filmmaker at the stadium ahead of the match against Delhi Capitals on Wednesday, May 10.
