Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan went on to stitch a mammoth 147-run partnership for the second wicket that wreaked havoc on the SRH bowling unit. After the early fall of Wridhhiman Saha on the very third ball of the innings, Gill was joined in the middle by Sudharsan as the duo held its ground for 13.4 overs while unleashing 147 runs in the process.
Sudharsan returned with 47 runs in 36 balls, courtesy of six fours and a maximum. He was eventually dismissed by Marco Jansen after being caught off T. Natarajan in the 15th over.
