The evening game of IPL’s super Sunday will be a blockbuster clash between Lucknow SuperGiants (LSG) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) who are two strong favorites to win the title this year. Both the teams will face off at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)
After losing their first game against Gujarat, Lucknow grabbed the momentum at the right time and won three games consecutively. Their team has the best balance amongst other IPL teams due to plenty of all-rounders on their side.
Captain KL Rahul will look to play the same playing XI and continue with the winning combination. However, LSG can bring in Marcus Stoinis in place of Evin Lewis if the all-rounder is available for selection.
Rajasthan Royals (RR)
Rajasthan Royals is one of the teams which has the strongest Indian core and has a strong team covering all three departments. After winning the first two games, RR lost their last match against RCB. However, there is not much scope for change on the side.
Sanju Samson can look to bring in an overseas batter in place of Jaiswal who didn’t have a great start to the season. RR can have Padikkal opening the batting and include Rassie Van der Dussan or Jimmy Needham in the middle order as they are playing with just 3 overseas till now.

The game is set to be a cracking encounter as two of the strongest team in the IPL will face off against each other. Tough to choose between the two but LSG would be firm favorites for the game as they have the winning momentum and have a lot of bases covered.
