The new franchise began their journey with a win in the first match. The Hardik Pandya-led side’s bowling attack put on a promising outing but the top-order’s performance was a concern.

Delhi Capitals (DC)
After claiming a win from the jaws of defeat against the Mumbai Indians, the Rishabh Pant-led side continue to battle with their depleted side.
The Capitals continue to be without their key overseas players. Anrich Nortje, Mitchell Marsh, and David Warner are yet to join the squad. However, the duo of Lungi Ngidi and Muztafizur Rahman are available for selection.
The dismal performance of the middle order would be something that the franchise would avoid repeating. While the lower-order bailed them out last time around, it might be a tougher proposition against a more challenging bowling unit.

The match-up of Delhi Capitals’ explosive batting unit against a potent Gujarat Titans bowling unit will be the one to watch out for. DC are expected to win this game.
