The biggest day in the competition has finally arrived as Gujarat Titans (GT) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) will battle for the title at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad in front of more than 1 Lakh people.

When the tournament started, not many people predicted that Gujarat would qualify for the finals in their inaugural season given that they had a few holes in their squad. They have rightly qualified for the finals given the way they played this season. Hardik Pandya’s captaincy has been impressive and surprised many experts given his past controversies. They would hope to end this competition on a high as well and become only the second team to win the IPL in their first attempt.
Rajasthan Royals (RR)
Rajasthan had done major work in the auction itself where they assembled a strong squad. Then they had to replicate that performance on the field and the squad delivered big time. RR has also been a dominant team this year with Jos Buttler leading the charge with his 4 centuries.
Sanju Samson can become the second-youngest captain to lift a title after Rohit Sharma if RR manages to win today. Also, it would be a perfect tribute to their first Royal Shane Warne who tragically passed away early this year.
