The Rajasthan Royals (RR) will lock horns with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 47th match of the Vivo Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 on Saturday at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Rajasthan Royals:
are heading to the match after a defeat against RCB in their previous outing. RR have only four wins from eleven games and are placed at seven position.
They did not get much of success as a team though they have brilliant individual performers. Evin Lewis and Yashasvi Jaiswal got them off to a high-spirited start against RCB but they soon crippled in the second half of their innings.
While Mustafizur Rahman and Chetan Sakariya have done well with the ball, Chris Morris and the spinners haven’t shown up in the UAE leg.
Chennai Super Kings:
While on the other hand CSK have nine wins from eleven games and MS Dhoni’s side became the first team to qualify for the playoffs after beating SRH by six wickets in their last match.
CSK have won all four of their games in the UAE, and look like the favourites in the game. Their opening partnership is solid as both Faf Du Plessis and Ruturaj Gaikwad are in top form. The depth of their batting order has also helped them put pressure on the bowlers.
DJ Bravo has also gained his momentum while pacer Shardul Thakur is another player who has immense contribution to the squad.
Jadeja and Moeen Ali are two top-drawer spinners who also add depth to the batting department.

RR have not been able to showcase much of their talent in UAE ,and their bowling department also looks weak. They will certainly aim to put up a fight against the former champions but CSK are likely to get the win as they are brimming with confidence after sealing playoffs position.
