Waging Odds: Punjab Kings (1.88) vs Kolkata Knight Riders (2.02)
Punjab Kings are priced at 1.88 and are the favourites. Betting ₹100 on them will earn you ₹188 if they come out as winners.
Kolkata Knight Riders are the underdogs and are priced at 2.02, meaning if you bet ₹100 on them and if they win the match, you’ll be making ₹202.
Our prediction:
It will be the first game of IPL 2021 set at the Motera stadium, which is known to be a batting-friendly pitch as it was seen during the IND vs ENG T20I series. While KKR’s batting has been irregular, PBKS has proven to be a high-scoring side in multiple times this year with the likes of Rahul and Gayle in their ranks.
Regarding bowling, both sides have beem showing similar performances and considering the Motera pitch behavious remains the same, the chasing side is likely to have the edge but the odds will be on PBKS’ end.
It will be a victory for Punjab Kings.
