The Delhi Capitals is set to take on the Rajasthan Royals at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi in the first match of the double-header of the UAE leg of Indian Premier League(IPL) 2021 on Saturday, 25th September.
Delhi Capitals:
DC are coming into the match with a comfortable 8-wicket win on their back against SRH.
Shreyas Iyer has also returned to the playing XI for the side but Rishabh Pant retained the captaincy. Anrich Nortje showcased a brilliant performance in the previous match, while pacer Kagiso Rabada also performed well. Axar Patel also did not give away many runs.
DC reached the target of 135 runs as contributions came from Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer and a blistering 35 from skipper Rishabh Pant.
Marcus Stoinis is set to miss out for the Capitals with a hamstring strain. Sam Billings could take his place in the middle order, with Steve Smith another option.
Rajasthan Royals:
While on the other hand, RR stole a victory from PBKS in a dramatic manner.
Openers Evin Lewis and Yashasvi Jaiswal made a solid start and even after wickets fell, the run rate did not dip. Mahipal Lomror also went on offense to PBKS bowlers, and his 17-ball 43 put RR in a position to get to 200. But, PBKS restricted them to 185 runs.
Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran apparently won it for the side but Mustafizur Rahman did wonders and an excellent last over from Kartik Tyagi saw RR win the game.
The Royals should name an unchanged playing XI for this match, with this team combination as it gives them a balanced squad.

Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada could once again shine with the ball, while RR’s Yashasvi Jaiswal and Mahipal Lomror would be eyeing to repeat their previous feats.
