Unfortunately, their last outing versus RCB saw a complete failure of the batting order in the chase, with only Gill making an effort of 34 as they lost the game by a whopping 82 runs. On the other hand, Varun Chakravarti was the only bowler with appreciable figures while rest of the KKR bowling squad gave away too many runs.
Full Squad: Andre Russell, Dinesh Karthik (c & wk), Kuldeep Yadav, Lockie Ferguson, Nitish Rana, Prasidh Krishna, Rinku Singh, Sandeep Warrier, Shivam Mavi, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Shubman Gill, Siddhesh Lad, Sunil Narine, Pat Cummins, Eoin Morgan, Varun Chakravarti, Tom Banton (wk), Rahul Tripathi, Chris Green, Nikhil Naik (wk), Pravin Tambe, M Siddharth.
Waging odds: Mumbai Indians (1.61) vs Kolkata Knight Riders (2.20)
Mumbai Indians are priced at 1.61 and are the favourites. Betting ₹100 on them will earn you ₹161 if they snatch a victory tomorrow.
Kolkata Knight Riders are the underdogs and are priced at 2.20 meaning if you bet ₹100 on them and if they win the match, you’ll be making ₹220.
Mumbai Indians walked out with a 49-run victory in their previous faceoff. They have been equally substantial in both batting and bowling and are regaining the menacing performance that they are renowned for.
However, after the devastating batting performance in the last match, the KKR batsmen will aim to land massive knocks to counter the MI bowlers, with Mavi, Cummins and Varun giving their best efforts to pressure down on the opposition batsmen.
Kolkata Knight Riders are likely to win the match.
