The batting squad was completely lacklustre in the chase, with almost all players meeting with early dismissals. Only the skipper Dinesh Karthik and Pat Cummins reached the 30 run mark, with the latter showing some effort with four sixes towards the end of the chase.

Despite starting as the favourites against RCB, Sunrisers ended up giving up their chase at the hands of the ruthless bowling attack of their opposition back on Monday. Despite the SRH bowlers tieing up RCB at a comfortable target, the majority of their batsmen failed to make a mark last match including their destructive skipper David Warner who lost his wicket on 6 runs.
The injury of Kane Williamson has been a big blow for the 2016 champions this year. However, it was only their opener Jonny Bairstow who smashed a 43-ball-61, in addition to a 34 from Manish Pandey.
Full Squad: David Warner (c), Rashid Khan, Sanjay Yadav, Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Khaleel Ahmed, Sandeep Sharma, Abdul Samad, Mitchell Marsh, Shreevats Goswami (wk), Mohammad Nabi, Fabian Allen, Abhishek Sharma, Basil Thampi, Billy Stanlake, Sandeep Bavanaka, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Virat Singh, T Natarajan, Kane Williamson, Shahbaz Nadeem, Jonny Bairstow (wk), Manish Pandey, Vijay Shankar, Siddarth Kaul, Priyam Garg.
Waging odds: Kolkata Knight Riders (2.00) vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (1.75)
Kolkata Knight Riders are the underdogs and are priced at 2.00, meaning if you bet ₹100 on them and if they win the match, you’ll be making ₹200.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are priced at 1.75 and are the underdogs. Betting ₹100 on them will earn you ₹175 if they come out as winners.
Both KKR and SRH are the only two franchises who haven’t secured a victory in IPL 2020 yet, and both teams are expected to bounce back stronger in the next game. In past IPLs, they have gone head to head against each other 17 times, in which KKR has registered 10 wins, and SRH 7.
KKR stalwarts Morgan and Russell, who faced early dismissals will try to produce big scores tomorrow. Narine and Mavi will lead the bowling attack, along with Kuldeep and Cummins etching out more economic figures that the previous match.
With Williamson still out, the SRH batting squad will attempt to smash big hits. Warner in his destructive form will form a huge partnership with Bairstow in the opening, with the Indian U19 captain Priyam Garg being a fresh option in the middle order. Meanwhile, Bhuvi and Rashid Khan’s economic bowling will keep the KKR batsmen in check, while Khaleel Ahmed is expected to make a comeback. Sunrisers Hyderabad will come out as the winners.
